Tickets include food, drinks, live ’80s music by the Eighties Club band, stories from Habitat’s past and a glimpse at what’s possible in the future. Guests are encouraged to dress in their most radical ’80s-style fits, but it’s totally optional. Get ready to have fun and celebrate 40 years of Habitat!
Since our official founding on October 1, 1986, Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity, with support from dedicated volunteers, donors and community partners, has made a significant impact on the local housing landscape. We’ve served more than 300 families, created hundreds of first-time homeowners, and built hundreds of safe, affordable homes in our communities.
Now exactly 40 years later, we’re taking a moment to celebrate our collective achievements, and recognize the work that still needs to be done to realize our vision of a community where homeownership never feels out of reach.
Throughout this year, we’ve honored our 40-year-history with stories about major milestone moments, a successful volunteer event at our Linden Street Build, and the unveiling of a 40th anniversary mural at the Lancaster Habitat ReStore, and more! And it’s all culminating with a big ’80s-style bash!
