Cost of Home

Did you know that 1 in 6 families in the United States spends half of their paycheck or more on housing each month? That number is both incredible and unsustainable.

Habitat’s Cost of Home election initiative is a campaign to raise awareness of the lack of affordable housing in the U.S., and to remind people to vote this Nov. 3. 

From Sept. 22 through Oct. 17, you can make a commitment to vote by filling out a pledge card at our Cost of Home “voting booth” at ReStore. The card will be returned to you prior to the election to serve as a friendly reminder that your voice counts in this year’s election and that affordable housing initiatives begin with our local, state and federal leaders.

So come on out and “vote” at ReStore!
