In accordance with Governor Wolf’s announcement today of a state-wide shutdown of non-essential businesses, our office and ReStore will be temporarily closed as of Monday, March 16. Additionally, all volunteer activities will be suspended until a time when it is deemed safe to interact.
COVID-19 has presented a challenge to our mission, but we will continue to serve as best we can. Our program staff will work remotely until further notice and can be contacted in several ways. Our staff page has a full list of email addresses and our main phone number at 717-392-8836 will take you to the voicemail of each team member, who is checking in regularly.
We are keeping an eye on developments related to the virus as they happen. Please be sure to check here, along with our social media outlets, for the most up-to-date information regarding Habitat activities.
And, please pray for those healthcare workers and public officials who are working tirelessly to solve issues surrounding the virus and are taking care of those most in need within our community.
We will keep an optimistic eye towards the day when things will go back to normal–which, they will!–and look forward to moving full steam ahead on our affordable housing efforts.
