On Saturday, Aug. 29th at 7PM, our Renovators’ Home Tour will present a virtual edition of the annual event, held in support of Lancaster Lebanon Habitat. Viewers can tune in to the Tour via RenvatorsHomeTour.com for an hour-long show featuring five local homes and their amazing renovations. UPDATE: If you missed the show, you can still see it! What You’ll See
Like always, Tour participants will see up-close creative use of space and innovative design ideas, as delivered by the homeowners, builders and designers behind the renovations. This year’s lineup features projects by David Lyall Home & Design, Capstone Design + Build, and homeowner-led tours into the residences of John and Mara McGrann of Penn Stone and Roxanne and Eric McRoberts of RLPS Architects. And, for the first-time ever, viewers will have the chance to see a Habitat home in the middle of construction!
How to Support
The Tour will support the renovation of a Habitat home at 530 Howard Avenue in Lancaster. Just recently, this property was selected by Habitat homebuyers Manny and Awilda to be their future home! You can help turn their dream of owning a home into a reality by supporting the transformation of this house into a safe, affordable, decent home. You can make a gift through 3 easy, secure ways:
- Text to Give: Text RENOTOUR to 44-321
- Donate Online: Follow this link to make your online donation
- Check: You can mail your gift, made payable to Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity, to 443 Fairview Avenue, Lancaster PA 17603
Make A Meal Of It
Another great, community-spirited way that you can support the Tour is by ordering a “viewing meal” from Blazin’ J’s, The Scarlet Runner and Max’s Eatery. These three, locally-owned eating establishments in Lancaster have created menus to make your Tour evening more special. Prices include a donation to Habitat, so your purchase not only supports local business, but it also supports Habitat. Be sure to visit each vendor’s website soon to learn how to place your order; pre-ordering is highly recommended or required.
