You don’t need to wield a hammer to volunteer with Habitat! There are so many ways that you can get involved. Please review the opportunities below. Registering for our Get Plugged In session is the first step to becoming a volunteer.
No construction experience? No problem! All you need are willing hands. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Our hours of construction are Wed-Sat. from 8:00am-4:00p.m. Availability of openings varies depend upon workload, time of year, etc.
ReStore volunteers are needed to accept donations, help stock items, organize, set up displays, clean and run the daily operations. Volunteers help during business hours: Tue-Fri. 9:00am-5:00pm and Sat., 9:00am-4:00pm
Committee members help to plan and execute Habitat’s many activities. Committee opportunities include: Special events; Construction; Sustainability; Family Services; Finance; and Hospitality. Time commitment varies.
Lutheran Task Force
The Lutheran Task Force will support Lancaster Lebanon Habitat’s mission in order to encourage local Lutheran congregations to grow in faith and serve our community and our world. Time commitment includes one monthly meeting.
Volunteers help fill clerical and receptionist roles in our Lancaster office. Opportunities are available during regular business hours, Mon.-Fri., 9:00am to 5:00pm.
