Lancaster Lebanon Habitat is currently recruiting AmeriCorps members for the 2016-2017 service year!
AmeriCorps engages more than 75,000 Americans in intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies and community and faith-based groups across the country. AmeriCorps provides an opportunity for individuals to serve with Habitat for Humanity to help meet the housing needs of communities and families throughout the United States.
AmeriCorps program members help homeowners achieve strength, stability and independence through shelter. Members can serve in leadership roles on active build sites or in local Habitat offices, assisting homeowners, volunteers and staff.
Members serve for one year and receive a modest living allowance, healthcare, and an educational award at the completion of their service. This award can be applied to future tuition payments and/or many existing loans. To learn more about the AmeriCorps program, click here.
