On land donated to us by St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Habitat plans to build at least four energy-efficient, single-family homes on West Lemon Street in Lititz. One of these homes will be built for a veteran by veterans. Architect and Lancaster Habitat board member Charlie Yohe, of Yohe Architecture + Design, has designed the homes to complement the existing residences on the block.
While construction has not yet begun, there is already much to do, including community and volunteer outreach, partnership development and communication with potential families who may apply for homeownership. Please take a moment to review opportunities to get involved within our Volunteer section of the site. You can also call our office at 717-392-8836 for more information.
