Abnet and Debista are the future homebuyers of a Habitat-renovated home on South Christian Street in Lancaster. The family’s previous living situation was pest-infested and cramped, which worsened with the arrival of their son, Nimona. As the child began to walk, it became apparent that the need for a larger living space was a priority.
Debista works at QVC warehouse while Abnet stays home with Nimona. Both were on the job site as soon as the renovations began, working towards earning the required sweat equity hours as part of the Habitat homeownership program.
